The wedding season begins!

Today I went to the first wedding of this semester; there are 3 more on the way if i'm doing my math right. Which for me means more "pressure" to hurry up and find someone to fall in love with and get married (did I mention I caught garter....) Don't worry I don't actually feel pressured to get Married anytime soon. But as I sat and watched this beautiful wedding, with a smile from ear to ear (P.S. congrats Cori & Chad) I realized I want to get Married. I want to fall in love someday and be a blessing to my future wife and her family in the same way Chad has already been a blessing to Cori and her family. I know Marriage is a huge calling. I mean the calling to "love your wife as Christ loved the Church and gave him self up for it" (Ephesians 5:25) is no small task. However as I listened to Chad share his vows, I noticed that He was excited about giving his all to love his bride. It wasn't a burden but a joy, and I think the best thing about today was to see Love in action as Cori and Chad expressed their love for each other.

some other Highlights of the wedding include:

1. Watching 2 people who love Jesus, and each other come together with the full support of all of there family land friends is a beautiful thing.

2. Watching a father hand his daughter over the her husband and say that he fully trust his new Son-in-law to cover her, to love, and take care of her is another beautiful thing.

3. Joining in with friends and celebrating, dancing, and laughing is something this world could use a whole lot more of.

OK I'm done rambling for tonight. God bless.
